Frequently asked questions
No such thing as a silly question.
Community
Who is this community for?
Modern professionals who want more from life, professionally and personally. We bring ambitious, likeminded people together through unforgettable experiences. If you're curious, up for new things, and believe the best connections happen outside the office, you'll fit right in.
Do I need to be in a specific industry?
Not at all. Our community spans every industry you can think of, and we find that one way or another, we all end up working together in some capacity anyway.
What kind of people will I meet?
People from all sorts of backgrounds, industries, and points in their career. But we can guarantee you'll have one thing in common: the mindset to push yourself, try new things, and meet new people. From there, who knows what adventures, friendships or business opportunities you'll go on to share.
Can I come solo?
Absolutely. In fact, over half of our trip goers come solo or in small groups. We offer accommodation matchmaking, curated events, and dedicated 'connectors' on every trip to help you settle in and make friends fast. By day two, you won't remember you came alone.
What age group are your trips and events for?
We've had everyone from 18 to 45+ on our trips, and quite honestly, who gives a toss? Age is just a number. Everyone is welcome. We’ve all got something to learn from one and other.
Do I have to go on a trip to be part of the community?
Not at all. Follow along, come to an event, get stuck in, and maybe one day you'll join us on a trip. We host events across the UK throughout the year to build connections closer to home.
Do I need to be building something to fit in?
Not at all. Some of our community run businesses, some are climbing in their careers, some just have a passion they pour their weekends into. What connects everyone is the mindset, not the CV.
Is there a WhatsApp community?
There is. It's where you'll be first to hear about new trips, events, and how to book. Each trip also gets its own WhatsApp group, so you can chat before you go and stay in touch long after you're home.
How do I find out about upcoming events?
Sign up to our newsletter, follow us on Instagram, and join our Whatsapp Community. You'll always be first to know.
How do I join?
Right here. Or drop us a message. Be warned... we're huggers.
Ski
Do I need to know how to ski?
Absolutely not. Over 40% of our trip goers are complete beginners. The Alps offer some of the best ski schools in the world and we organise it all for you. You'll find every level on our trips and you'll never struggle to find someone to ski with. We're a nice bunch, promise.
What ability level do I need to be?
Every level is welcome, from complete beginner to seasoned pro. There's something for everyone in these resorts, on the slopes and off them.
Where do you ski?
France, Austria, Andorra, Italy... you name it, we've either been or we're planning to go.
Can I come solo?
Absolutely. In fact, over half of our trip goers come solo or in small groups. We offer accommodation matchmaking, curated events, and dedicated 'connectors' on every trip to help you settle in and make friends fast. By day two, you won't remember you came alone.
How long are the trips?
7 days, typically Saturday to Saturday, between January and April.
What's included in the trip price?
It varies by trip, but you can expect things like accommodation, ski pass, and transfers. Everything is made clear in the trip details before you book.
What's not included?
Flights and travel insurance are additional (and insurance is a must). Each trip also has a variety of optional events and activities, many of them free.
What does a typical day look like?
Wake up, laugh with your roommates about yesterday's antics, grab breakfast at the morning meet-up, then hit the slopes with your new friends. Big group events in the evenings bring everyone together. And of course, après every afternoon.
What's the après-ski like?
Our personal favourite. Around 3 o'clock we link up for some lunch, maybe a beer, and a little boogie together on a table before skiing back down in the early evening. It's a highlight for a reason.
When do bookings open?
Generally August/September through to January. Be quick though, spots go fast every year.

Sail
Do I need to know how to sail?
Absolutely not, though it doesn't hurt if you do. We hire licensed skippers to handle all the hard work, so you can sit back and relax, or get stuck in on deck and learn some new skills.
Where do you sail?
Croatia, Greece, even around the UK.
How long is the trip?
Generally 6 days, though we often stay out a little longer to make the most of the weekend.
What's included in the trip price?
Six nights on a 40-50ft yacht, a licensed skipper, and hosts who handle all the tough stuff so you don't have to.
What's not included?
Flights, sunscreen and travel insurance, all essential. Oh, and fuel for the yacht at the end of the trip, which everyone chips in for.
How many people are on each boat?
Depends on the boat, but expect around 8-12 people with you. Small enough to properly get to know everyone, big enough to always have someone to chat to.
What does a typical day on the water look like?
Wake up, sunrise dip, breakfast on board or a coffee around the marina. Set sail for the next spot and relax on deck, keeping an eye out for dolphins (or the mojito man). Good tunes, cold drinks, and views that will take your breath away. Each evening we pull into a new marina, explore, grab dinner, and let the night take us wherever we fancy.
Is it suitable if I get seasick?
We'd never want it to put you off. Our routes stick to calm, sheltered waters, which helps enormously. Bring some seasickness tablets just in case (better safe than sorry), keep your eyes on the horizon if you feel queasy, and it usually passes quickly. It's never stopped anyone having the time of their life.
When do bookings open?
Generally January to July, depending on when the trip sails (typically June or August). Keep an eye on our socials

Booking & Logistics
How do I book?
All our trips are booked through trusted third-party suppliers like WhiteRoad and Armada. They handle all the tricky stuff and are fully financially protected, so your money is safe and the logistics are in expert hands. We'll point you to the right place when bookings open.
How much do trips cost?
Trips generally range from £600 to £950 base price, with optional extras on top. We offer a variety of options from standard to boujee, depending on the trip. Full pricing is always laid out clearly before you book.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. You typically secure your spot with a £150 deposit and have a good few months to pay the rest. The payment schedule is made clear on each booking.
What's your cancellation policy?
Laid out clearly before every trip. Typically you have 24-hour free cancellation, after which the deposit is non-refundable, though we can often arrange a free name swap before a certain date if you can't make it.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, it's mandatory. We can often help provide it as part of the package.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Of course. Every event and trip has something suitable for everyone.
Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely. Friend, colleague or frenemy. Everyone's welcome.
What should I pack?
We send out a full recommended packing list before every trip so nothing gets forgotten. On ski trips, some kit can be added as an extra.
